What We Do?

SHE seeks to produce knowledge and information and to promote sustainable solutions to complex issues arising from the social, economic and political challenges of migration, refuge, gender, participation and inclusion.

We rely on experts and researchers from a wide range of fields to study and produce informed recommendations for policy-makers, companies and society in general, in particular on:

  • Forced migration, refuge and statelessness;
  • International Humanitarian Law (IHL);
  • Islamic law (Sharia);
  • Women’s rights and equal justice;
  • Cultural mediation.

Guided by the fundamental principles of humanity, neutrality, impartiality and independence, SHE Institute acts at the interface between research and action, actively collaborating with national and international agencies to shape consistent public policies.
